The Book of Acts ends rather abruptly at chapter 28 and aptly so. It was meant to be a prologue - an introduction to the "Father's business" here on earth - a narrative that continues today in the power of the Holy Spirit working through the church until Jesus Christ returns in His glory. Welcome to Acts 29 - Vancouver.

We are a people who come from different nations and cultural backgrounds, in passionate pursuit of the Person of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ changes people, perceptions, purposes, life perspectives and predicaments - be they emotional, physical, philosophical or spiritual in nature. We believe that the Spirit of God is constantly revealing truth to the present day church - reforming, re-structuring and restoring the Body - so that we stay on the cutting edge of God's move - building altars but not pitching tents. We believe that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are active in the present-day church and that ministry should be gift-oriented and Spirit-led.

We believe that the universal rule and reign of Christ operates in reality and power among men and women in this present age and that the Kingdom of God will increase until it is perfectly realized when Jesus Christ returns.

We believe that it is God's intention to manifest His rule over individuals, families, churches, nations and all spheres of human activity and that while Christ's Kingdom authority is not limited to His church, it is still the focal point of Christ's Kingdom work here on earth.

We believe that the church has a responsibility to preach the kingdom, herald Christ as King, proclaim the good news of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and make disciples of all nations - with the accompanying call to repentance, faithful obedience, healing of the sick, casting out of demons and other accompanying signs.

We believe that the Kingdom of God can never gain entrance or come to full realization apart from the agency of the Holy Spirit, who is indispensable to insure and produce Kingdom obedience, character, gifts, growth, outreach and victory.

We believe that God is raising and restoring the five-fold offices of apostle, prophet, teacher, evangelist and pastor in every nation across the earth to build and equip the body of Christ. Accordingly, it is our mandate to equip the Christian to become Christ-like and to do the work of ministry that each one is called to.
